Yoli’s Alka-Plex Technology…What does it mean for you and your body?

Yoli is making big waves these days and I get a lot of questions about the new company and its products. Today, I just wanted to show you a little bit of information about the Alka-Plex technology that Yoli is using in their products. It really brings a new level of nutrition and health to their offering so I wanted to get this information to you. Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.

What is Alka-Plex and Why did Yoli include it in their products?

Alka-Plex® Granules are a proprietary mineral complex that is a very strong, yet very safe, alkalizing agent. A proprietary manufacturing process uses the patented Exact Blending and Compounding (“EBC”) equipment to produce the Alka-Plex® granule. The granules have three properties:

Reduces the acidity of foods and beverages without damaging flavor;
Increases absorbency of key nutrients; and
Achieves a systemic alkaline balance in the body to improve healthy aging and athletic performance

Alka-Plex granules are manufactured using material science concepts. Crystalline carrier particles are assembled into finished granules from components the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have designated as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe). Furthermore, Alka-Plex is designated as a New Dietary Ingredient by the FDA – a recognition of uniformity and safety.

Reducing the Acidity of Foods and Beverages

Yoli’s Alka-Plex granules gradually release alkalizing agents in two gradual steps. The action is very gentle.

Nevertheless, Alka-Plex is very powerful. A very small amount (160mg or about a “pinch”) removes more than 90% of the mucosa active acids in a cup of coffee.

Alka-Plex granules are tasteless and quickly neutralize excess acids in coffee, sauces, and other foods that often cause stomach upset.

Increases Absorbency of Key Nutrients

Due to the unique structure of Alka-Plex, this hydrophilic granule opens mucosal membranes and improves the absorption of key nutrients. Alka-Plex also appears to have a gut cleansing and improves upper digestive tract functioning.

Systemic Alkaline Balance

Alka-Plex granules help balance and manage the complex and critical acid/alkaline relationship in the human body. Alka-Plex is a solution for low-grade, chronic acidosis – often described as “acidic stress.” Over 400 peer-review articles like low-grade acidosis with aging and dozens of problems associated with the aging process.
